Pet safety reminders for summertime fun

• Pets should always be secured in the car with a restraint (crate, carrier or car seat) for safety.
• Be aware of local health hazards at your destination, including wildlife and environmental toxins.
• Ensure your pet is vaccinated against any transmissible diseases and up to date on their preventives.
• Never leave your pet unattended in a vehicle no matter how temperate it may seem!
